Rejoice with the Torah!

Shemini Atzeret, the "eighth day that concludes the festival," and
Simchat Torah, "rejoicing with the Torah,"
are the culmination of the holidays of the Hebrew month of Tishrei.
On Shemini Atzeret, we say prayers for rain, and Yizkor is recited.
Join us for
evening services on Friday, October 6 at 6:00 PM, and
morning services (with Yizkor service) on Saturday, October 7 at 9:00 AM.
On Simchat Torah, we celebrate with dancing as we complete the annual cycle
of reading from the Torah and start to read it again.
The Torah scrolls are taken from the Ark and carried
with singing and dancing in a parade around the synagogue (called hakafot.)
